To become a Senate you will have to have a high position of being a Magistrate. Magistrates helps the Senators keep their high level. Without the Magistrates, Senators would be powerless as they don't have the support from them. Magistrates help the Senators by collecting taxes, make decisions, defend the rights of the plebeians. Being a Senator is a very important job as you have to set rules and laws but at the same time you have to make sure that everyone is treated well. Magistrates contain Consuls (read above), Tribunes (defend rights of plebeians), Praetors (in charge of wars), Censors (collects and in charge of tax laws) and Aediles (public events). When a Senator you have to wear your uniform with pride (read more about the dressing here).
